Episode Five - Powtoon & Canva

Welcome back to my blog,

For this week I had been exposed to the use of PowToon. What is PowToon exactly?  According to Macchi, PowToon is an eTool that been created for the purposes of animated videos for personal, educational, business or for professional use. Most important this Web-based animation software is user-friendly easy and free (for 100 Mb plan) to access it. While for Shen, Farid, & Mcpeek (2008), they defined it as an online service that creates interesting animated features, for instance, handwriting animation, cartoon animation, transition effects and etc.  Apart from that, there are two modes of PowToon which are movies and presentation and both can be modified easily.  Thus, this Web-based animation software is simple and easy to handle for both instructors and learners compare to traditional Web-based software (such as PowerPoint, Prezi and others).

Next, I have been introduced to the used of Canva software and I like it so much because it more interesting and colourful to be used compared to the Microsoft PowerPoint.

               

Here we go to the third assignment of this subject which:

1)    Produce educational video using PowToon

2)    Create a poster using Canva
